Our Services
There are a lot of reasons to climb a tree. Here are some ways Legacy Tree Care can help you.
Chipping
We can chip brush, limbs, and chunks up to 15 inches.
Takedowns and Removals
If your tree is dangerous, invasive, sick or dying, in the way of a new structure, or grown too big to be manageable, we can take it down safely.
Reasons to remove a tree:
Tree that is invasive
The Tree is in decline
The tree is dangerous
The tree is diseased
The tree is unmanageable due to size or upkeep
To allow space for other trees to thrive
To clear land for new structure(s)
The tree insulted yo’ mama
Pruning
Sometimes a tree you love can grow too big. By removing or reducing the size or number of limbs on your tree we can take weight off your tree to reduce the chance of breaking under load from snow or wind, remove dead wood, thin an overgrown tree, give your roof or yard more clearance, introduce more light into your home or yard, enhance your view, or give you room to walk around without hitting your head.
Reasons to prune:
Thinning an overgrown tree
Removing dead wood
Raising a tree’s canopy
Reshape a tree’s canopy
Providing clearance for vehicles or structures
Bringing more sunlight to an area
The upper crown is too thick or the limbs are too long and present a break risk in high winds or under snow load
Reduction
Also called topping trees. If your turning trees into a hedge, the tree top is damaged, the tree is too tall to be safe, or your tree has been topped before we can reduce the size of the top to keep the tree in check.
Reasons to top a tree:
To create or maintain a hedge
The top is dead but the rest of the tree is alive
The tree is too tall to be safe
The tree has multiple tops and one or more has broken
The tree was topped before
Cabling
Cabling can stabilize a tree with multiple tops that present a break risk.
Spraying
We do not spray any chemicals. We use a solution of neem oil. Neem oil is a natural fungicide for many common tree fungi and an insect repellent to several common pests that can infect your trees. It’s also won’t hurt the creatures that pollinate your trees.
